Saphire Elder Sign

According to the Lovecraftian mythos, this living talisman serves as a mystic barrier against the influence of the Great Old Ones and Outer Gods. I can't vouch for its mystic powers, but this starfish-like creature certainly has a charisma of its own, and seems to dance before your eyes.

This one in particular seems to be a matured specimen, with a wise and lifelike gaze, a veined silver eye with a gold edged pupil, and limbs of cold sapphire hue veined with brass.
